This is the quesion I would like to ask the food sample lady at our local grocery store.
My kids, Sarah mainly, are picky, picky eaters. Sarah won't even stick her tongue out to try food, she LOVES junk food. I give her the same meals as us or as the kids (sometimes they won't eat what I make from Brent and I) but she never touches it. But.......EVERY time we go to the grocery store this same lady is there cooking up steak, hot dogs, hamburgers with many different kinds of sauces and ingredients and EVERY time my kids will sample and eat WHATEVER it is she has for the day! And then they ALWAYS say something like "I want THAT for dinner" or "She is the best cook" or "That was sooooo good." But do you think they would eat it if I made it? Noooooooooooooooo. I have even tried to cut things up and put them on little toothpicks like she does.
So I think my only option is to have this lady come to my house and feed my kids!! :)

THat is soo funny. Actually I am the same way, everything taste better when I am not the one who cooked it!! I always love the samples and then they are never as good when I make it myself!! Good luck with the picky eaters!
I wish my kids would even take to a store sample lady! I am so sick of hearing Lily ask for RAMEN every night of the week!!!! At least it sound like you are really trying. I am impatient. If they don't eat it, they get a slice of bread. It's so exasperating!
