what do you want for christmas?

Here is the winning photo for our christmas cards. It was a little more cropped than this, but we thought it was a good picture of them all. It is a little funny though, the last 3 years Megan has had Sarah on her lap for each christmas card.

We went to see Santa at the mall and ride the train. The kids were pretty excited. Especially for the train! Sarah went right up to it with Megan, climbed in and sat down. Fun!

Megan telling Santa what she wants and Joseph thinking about it

Posing with Santa!

Sarah didn't want to sit with Santa and just watch so Daddy held her a safe distance away!

What I want for christmas...a new videa camera and to not feel morning sick ever again.
Brent....no snow and warm temptures! (and maybe a new car)(not happening)
Megan....a real life dog (not a real one) that is really cute, webkinz, and a sled
Joseph....hot wheels cars, sled, race track, scooter and everything else he saw on tv commercials that is for boys!
Sarah....kitchen items (she likes to cook) a new elmo, and a cake! (?)

I can handle.....

I can handle the constant sometimes barely there, sometimes Really there nausea feeling everyday. I can handle not being able to eat the healthy foods I really liked a couple of months ago because they make me gag. I can handle craving Subway subs (turkey on wheat with lettuce, green peppers, yellow peppers, olives, lots of mayo, and s&p, mmmmmmmmmm). :) I can handle junk food sounding yuck yuck yuck. I can handle throwing up every morning just the yuck empty stomach contents and on occasion breakfast or lunch.

But the one thing that I can barely stand is brushing my teeth every day and having to gag and gag my way through it. I have been able to handle not throwing up during this process so far....until last night. I made it through maybe 30 sec. and then I had to say goodbye to dinner and dessert(which we rarely have). Then brush my teeth all over again. I went to bed with a very sore throat and a growling stomach and still nauseaus. I can't handle that again.....
(sorry this is a gross post, I want to look back soon and think..."did I really feel like that?)

m a m spells Maam

Megan taught Joseph much what she learned in kindergarten, he starts kindergarten next year, but he already knows all the sounds the letters make and is starting to sound out words and read.
He is a tough one when it comes to bed time, won't stay in bed, needs water, then says goodnight about a hundred times to us. I finally started putting books on his bed and he can look at them, this gets him to stay in bed and eventually fall asleep, but his new favorite thing to do when he gets out of bed is tell me how something is spelled. Anything he thinks of lying in bed. Last night it was : "mom I know how to spell maam m - a - m" smiles and runs back to bed
we have also heard many others d-o-g, h-d(hood), m-o-m (this is what is spells when he wants my attention), noo(new), he is getting the hang of it, he will even rewind a commercial or video if he sees a word to spell it and has to spell or sound out all the stores we go to. This is pretty fun to see him growing and learning so much. Smart boy if I do say so myself!

On another note, we always take our own christmas picture to send to family and friends each year. Dress the kids up, put them in front of the fireplace, tell a few jokes to get some good smiles, take the pictures to the kiosk at hy-vee, get christmas cards back in an hour, send them out. Lots of fun!
This is last years picture 2007, I couldn't find the one the year before that when Sarah was just 2 weeks old. So cute!

and this was one of the runner ups for cards this year, you'll have to wait to see the winner if you get one in the mail or I will post the winner once I get them sent.
Sarah's lip is all red because she has been doing the lower lip above the upper lip and got all chapped, but for the winner we covered it with a little makeup!

Sarah turns 2:
Our little girl turned 2 on thanksgiving! Everytime we asked her what she wanted for her birthday she would say "a blue kitty cake and ice cream". So we went to the store to pick out a cake (I was in no mood to actaully bake and decorate a cake) and I picked out a hello kitty cake and an Elmo cake. Elmo won by a long shot. She was SO excited! We celebrated her birthday a day early since her actual birthday was on thanksgiving day.

"What I am really 2 now? I can open these presents?!"

Sarah opening her coloring book and other presents.

The wonderful Elmo cake with Sarah in the back waiting patiently to blowout candles and eat it!

On her actual birthday at Grandma's eating ice cream! YUM

We were telling Sarah "You're going to be 2" for so long now if you ask her how old she is she says"I'm gonna be 2" She hasn't quite figured it out yet she is 2, even though she acts very much like a 2 year old.

Sarah and Joseph love it when our cats get up on the couch with them. Sarah will actually pat the couch and call in a high pitched voice "come here Winnie come here" This day the cat finally got up on her lap and laid there for awhile. Sarah was beyond excited.

Punishment for not listening: call them by a different name. Joseph = Henry, Billy, Elmo, George, Oscar.....and many more. Megan = Zoey, just had to use it once so far. My kids, mostly Joseph, is going through a bad stage of not listening lately. So I decided, his ears didn't need cleaned out, he wasn't responding to Joseph, so there was just one other option....that wasn't his name. So the above mentioned names are just a few of the new names that we are trying out to see if he will finally responds and behaves appropriately. So far it seems to be working. The kids think it is kind of funny and it diverts attention away from whatever they were doing.

On another note, we had a good thanksgiving. There wasn't a lot of us at Brent's aunt and uncles house but it was nice and as always the food was sooooo yummy. It is always much easier to eat food during my morning sickness when others prepare the food and not me! We have much to be grateful for. I feel as the years go by there is more and more to be grateful for. Our kids, our continued health, our families, our many friends, our stability in this economy, our callings, and sooooo much more.
I heard the babys heart beat again today. That is always so reassuring to hear and is included in my list of things to be thankful for. Healthy, fairly easy pregnancies.
Now I need to kick it in gear and go out and start my christmas shopping that I haven't started yet! Wish me luck!

Graphic

My sister left a comment and suggested that I show Megan pictures of the baby as it grows and develops because Megan thinks it is really neat to hear about it. It reminded me of this:

At my first dr. appt. they gave us a whole bag filled with "goods", about 10 magazines and a thick pregnancy book, many items about being preggo and the first few months after. So I was looking through one with the kids that night. This book was one with a real life picture of the baby in utero and talked about the development month by month. They kids really thought it was cool. We get to month 8 (the book is half on my lap half on Megans) so I turn the page to the last month and what is the picture for that month? A full picture of the Delivery Docs veiw of delivery. I mean the head crowning, half way out and out with umbilical cord still attached. Graphic! So I quickly took the book, skipped that page and went on to the baby being cleaned and a newborn. I thought I would wait until she is older and then traumatize here when she is a teenager with those pictures!

I don't know about you but I am not one to have the mirror and watch as I deliver, maybe with this last one, so it will convince me to never do it again. I know the whole getting pregnant and having a baby is just amazing but I don't want to see the down there parts of it. Anyway, what would you do? Would you let your 7 year old see those pictures or keep it until shes older? My kids seem to be pretty innocent still, they don't know about all that "stuff" that goes into creating a baby and I would rather keep it that way for a while longer yet. Tell me what you think.

Can you believe it?!

$23.23.....this is how much it cost to fill up my van today, the gas light was on and it was near empty. A full tank $23.23......I hope it lasts........:)

Better late than never...right?

I know Halloween was a couple of weeks ago, but my theme of life lately is: I don't feel like doing anything. This includes uploading pictures, updating blog, cleaning house, getting up in the morning and getting kids ready, cleaning house, going out places, etc., name it, I don't feel like doing it.
But I am finally starting to feel a little better during the days so I am getting back up and doing these things (all but keeping a very clean house, that can wait!) So finally here are the Halloween pictures.

My almost 2 year old, being a kitty, she was so adorable, she wouldn't wear the ears on beggars night but she did for trunk-or-treat. She even meowed if you asked her to!

Joseph at preschool, being an FBI guy, he even had an attitude! (He couldn't be the devil at the church preschool so we came up with this)

Sarah just being cute!

Megan and Joseph all ready to go trick-or-treating or I should say go eat candy. Joseph with his pitchfork that is supposed to stay on the ground, not swung around, and Megan an adorable witch.

All 3, but Sarah wanted nothing to do with picture taking she wanted to go eat CANDY! (I wasn't smart enough to take pictures before going out)

We had a good Halloween.
Things lately.
We were shopping at dreaded wal-mart awhile back and Sarah wanted Chips, so I gave in and handed her a bag, she took it and said "It's my lucky Day!!!" all smiles, even for me and my parents who couldn't stop laughing.
Joseph has learned the turkey lurkey song and a then acts like slitting his throat at the end. It is a cute song. My name is turkey lurkey, I live with farmer brown, I know thanksgivings coming, so get me out of town....I can't remember the rest. I'll have to ask him.
Brent was called to the High council. This should be a fun calling, especially come this summer with a newborn. Truthfully, though, I am not worried about it. I KNOW he will do wonderful in this calling and I know I can handle the sundays he is not with me.
Megan likes to hear updates of how big the baby is getting. 12 weeks: the baby is about as long as a lime, and his/her arms and legs, fingers and toes are just about all formed. She thinks these are fun to hear, I have to agree. The whole process is amazing.
I think I will end now, thanks for reading!

heartbeat/parents/jump/snow/Halloween/birthday

Did I get that all in the title?

I feel I have been busy, busy, sick, sick, and tired, tired. So here is a quick update.
1. We heard the baby's heart beat for the first time yesterday. This is always exciting and fun and makes it a little more real.

2. My parents came to visit for about a week. As we were driving away from the airport from dropping them off the kids said they had a lot of fun with them here. This is always good to hear.

3. Sarah has learned how to jump, off the ground. It is pretty cute whenever she gets excited she jumps up and down 3-4 times. We get a good laugh watching her.

4. It snowed for the first time for this "winter". Not really looking forward to the below 0 weather and windchills and all that "wonderful winter" weather. But the kids were WAY excited. They even wanted to go out and shovel and build a snow man. To bad it doesn't even cover the grass completely!

5. We had a great Halloween with the kids (still haven't downloaded the pictures) Megan was a witch, a very cute one, Josesph was the devil and an FBI guy for preschool, his church preschool looks down on costumes that have anything to do with satan, and little Sarah was a Kitty and a pretty adorable one at that! They all had a great time. Megan and Joseph quickly got the go house to house tell a joke and get candy, Sarah on the other hand thought she had to eat each piece of candy she got before the next house...it was quite fun!

6. I had my 28th birthday on Halloween. All I wanted was to have dinner at Texas Roadhouse, it was the 2nd time I have been there and I had been craving it for WEEKS.
YUM!!!!

7. Thats it for now!!!!

this and that

By now most know....We are expecting baby #4 in late May. I haven't come right out and said it so there it is. We are excited but I will be more so when the morning sickness wears off. I told Brent I would rather go through child birth 2 times than feel like this for 10 weeks! This will be our last and I have nooooooooo problem saying that!

Just a few this and that things the kids have been up to......

Joseph: whenever he is watching a cartoon and commercials come on and he sees any toy that has to do with boys, he says over and over "I want that, I want that" it was amusing at first but not so much now. I will even be upstairs and can hear him saying that when no one is around.

Sarah: You ask her what she is doing, for example you see her coloring, she responds back "Just coloring" "Just eating" as natural as can be.
I also tell Sarah if she wants something she needs to be happy and not cry about it or whine. Like on sunday, she did not want to go to nursery, she starts crying then remembers she needs to be happy if she wants something so she pats her chest and says "Be Happy, go home!"

Megan: She is very excited for halloween, so she wants to wear all black and orange, so my job before then she informed me is to make sure she has everything black and orange to wear friday. Socks, shirt, pants, underclothes, hair bows, the works.....we'll see. She is also becoming such a great reader and according to her knows more than some adults! :)

On another note, we had our primary program this sunday and I just have to say that I am soooooo proud of the kids in my primary!!! They did a wonderful job and it couldn't have been better. Way to go Primary kids!!!!
I am especially proud of Joseph for memorizing his part and actually getting up and saying it (it helped that we bribed him with a gold coin!) and of Megan for singing her solo part so beautifully! I was all smiles sunday! FAntastic!

Cheeeeeese!!! just a few pictures

This is a wierd one...to help with my morning sickness, Brent got me these wrist bands called Sea Bands, that have a little plastic round thing that pushes on the pressure point and is supposed to take away the nausea(?)....I think they are working, I wear them all day and to bed....so if you see me wearing them...this is why.

Sarah and I, when we went to the apple orchard, we are in the corn pool, she didn't like it when we went for playgroup here, and she still didn't like it when we went as a family, but she loved everything else.

Megan and Joseph having a Blast in the corn pool!

Megan & Joseph did the hay maze all by themselves! (after we did it with them the 1st time) They were sooooo excited to have done it alone!

Sarah being a cutie!

The 3 little pigs straw house

the jumping pillow, Joseph and his friend Austin jumping on it

Brent and Sarah, she loves anything to do with bikes and her daddy.

Megan and Joseph in the straw house, by grandpa's picture! (it's a ham!) in the straw house there was a picture of a string of sausage, I believe was dad!

Megan's 7th birthday!!! Happy birthday Megan, WE LOVE YOU!

She was very specific with what she wanted for her cake....white with pink flowers, with green stems, and it to say Happy Birthday Megan! on it. I did a pretty good job picking it out, huh?!

Megan on her birthday with the friends she invited over. I said "hey girls, come stand over here and let me get a picture of all of you" so Sarah comes right over and stands in front of them all! She was just as excited about Megan's birthday as Megan was, now she says she is 7!

what's new with you?

what's new with us lately?
Our computer was down last week, Megan had her 7th birthday last friday!, today we went to the apple orchard, Megan was off school and we called Joseph in sick ;) and Brent took the day off of work, I still need to find a kitty halloween costume for Sarah, I desperately need to clean my house, I am anxiously looking forward to our primary program at the end of this month, so much so that I am having dreams/nightmares about how it is going to go and I have been "sick" the last week and will continue to be for probably the next 10 weeks!! (yes, take this as an announcement)

So what's new with you?

(I will post pictures later)

Walking with Dinosaurs

We went to Walking with Dinosaurs at the Iowa Events Center last night. This is an educational/real life/real size show about Dinosaurs. And can I say it was REALLY COOL, if not a little scary also. We took all 3 kids and there were times Joseph was glued scared to his seat, wide eyed and terrified, mostly the T-Rex part! Sarah was sitting on my lap the whole time and when it was scary or loud she would lay on me, I would cover her other ear and hum "I am a Child of God", but she wanted to see what was going on. Megan was next to Brent and hugging his side during some of the thunder or scary T-Rex.

There was a palleanthologist (?) narrating it, and we "traveled" back in time to see the dinosaurs. These dinosaurs were so real looking and loud. It was very.....awesome. I was a little worried about the seats, 1-because I bought them the night before we went, 2-becasue they were $24, and kind of near the front on the lowest section of seating. So I was thinking why would they be the lowest price near the front, the seats went around in a semi-circle and we were at one the the beginning ends to it. I was thinking "is there going to be something in the way of us seeing the show?" "Were these just not good seats?" the other seats next to us were $60 then $35 above us. But we got there, found our seats and they were perfect, especially for the lowest price. We were on row R up from A, so not to far up, right at the edge and had a perfect view to everything. I don't think you could have had a bad seat, unless you were up in the nose bleed section, which was the other option I almost chose. Anyway, enough about the seats.

If you ever get the chance to go and you think your kids can handle it.....GO. It was well worth it. My kids were wide eyed with wonder one minute, terrified the next, excited after that, laughing and having fun the next minute. They talk now about it like they weren't scared, I was afraid they might have nightmares last night, but I didn't hear a peep from any of them! My only regret is that I forgot the camera, argh! We had lots of fun, So go see it next time you see it in town!

along with the spider.....

came the bees! We have had LOTS of bees around our house lately. I noticed last week there were about 20 bees flying around the front of our house. This is NOT a good thing. Megan is deathly afraid of bees, she won't go out and play if she sees a bee out. Yesterday we were outside and I noticed this strange little "ball" with a bunch of holes in it in the rocks by my rose bushes. Turns out this "ball" was a beehive nest, I knew there was one somewhere but I didn't know it was right by our front door! Megan saw it and immediately started crying. When Brent got home he sprayed it with bee/wasp killer. The only difference from this picture today from yesterday is that there were wasps covering it yesterday! Not fun!!!

Here are some pictures of Joseph playing soccer as well!

3 kids and a spider

Just a few little random things going on with us lately. First, Sarah....the big thing with her going on is that she thinks she is ready to potty train! She will be 2 on thanksgiving this year, she talks like crazy, and now every time her diaper is changed she wants to go potty on the "potty seat". We were having chef salad the other night for dinner I usaully give all the kids what we are eating at least a little bit of it, but I didn't give any salad to Sarah. I knew she wouldn't like it. So, she saw we all had salad and says as clear as can be "I want some salad too", it is still crazy to hear her talk to clearly sometimes. I think our little girl will be potty trained if I can keep it up with her, but we will see. She just seems so little, but she is the one who has started all this sooooooo.....

On to Megan, she is loving 1st grade still, I will love it when she gets home earlier! To answer a few questions, her school is being remodeled this year, so just about all the kids in her school are all being bused to a temporary school for just this year. It is a Bit farther than the 3 minute drive from our house and due to small parking lot and it being a small school, they don't want kids being picked up by parents, so this year she is riding the bus, she is one of the last to get picked up and one of the last to get home. The other day we were walking up the street from picking her up off of the corner from the bus and Brent pulls into our driveway. It was just about 5:00! Way to late in my opinion to be getting home, but she doesn't seem to mind and it is just for one year (so I keep having to remind myself).
Anyway, sorry that was long, she is also soaking up on how to read! She made a "series" of books based on a little boy named Robee, they are very cute, she drew all the pictures and she wrote all the words in the way they sound, e.i. sed=said, ses=says, eneewara=anywhere, dun=done, just to name a few. It is all very very cute! :) We are sooo proud of her!

The lastest going on with Joseph is he started soccer a couple of weeks ago. He really enjoys it and it is fun to see him play and ineract with the other kids. I will have to post some pictures of him playing soccer when I get them downloaded. He has seen Megan play 2 springs of baseball, a summer of dance and a fall of soccer....so now it is HIS turn. Finally old enough to play something himself.
He is a smart boy, we were looking at some library books last night about the 9 planets, and he was able to tell me which planet was which, corrected me on the order of the planets on a diagram of them, and could spell each planet. He never ceases to amaze me on the things he knows and does. He is a tough one to get to say prayers and he loves to goof off and be silly and can be a little temperamental sometimes, but this all is part of him and why he is so much fun. And such a handsome boy!! He is also at an age where he wants to make lots of friends. There are a few boys at preschool that he wants to have over sometime and of course there is always his good friend Austin! And his best friends Megan and Sarah!

All of these pictures were taken of the kids the other night when we were outside playing.
There was also a great big spider who built a big web on the house next to the patio doors. He is big and ugly, about the size of a nickel. He was really active and moving all over, so we thought we would feed him a moth or two :) So in this picture is Mr. ugly spider and below it is, I believe a different bug he caught earlier and the first moth we fed him below that, wrapped in white. Brent caught the little moth then threw it on his web, the spider quickly crawled over to it and started wrapping it, let it sit for a couple of minutes, went back and ate it. It was all really neat to watch. He gave him a second one too. I got that on video! We all enjoyed watching the little cycle of life! But I don't think I will let Mr. ugly to take up permanent residence on the back of our house.........

The video is a little wobbly at first but gets better. I have never seen a spider in action like that in real life so I thought this was worthy of documenting.

Ten Years Ago (yesterday)

Yesterday was our 10 year anniversary! We were married in the Salt Lake Temple, as seen in the above picture, on September 19,1998. It was a beautiful day, we had lots of family and friends who came and we had a wonderful reception later that day in my grandmothers beautiful backyard!
I can not believe 10 years have gone by. It has been a great 10 years and I love my husband more now than I did then and my love continues to grow. We have had a great 10 years, with not a lot of arguments, we agree on most things and we can "read each others thoughts" so to say in many ways. In these last years we have been and are experiencing: 3 kids and hopefully another one someday, 4 cats, 2 houses, different jobs, many, many different friends, different callings, and many, many, many more wonderful things.
So Here is to another 10, 20,30,40,50 more years together!
And if I do say so myself, Brent, you are still as handsome as the day I met you! Love you!!!!

isms

eating cookie dough on sunday.....sooooo yummy!

Joseph-ism -

Our cats like turkey, the kids know this, so I am getting ready for the day and the kids are playing with one of the cats, Joseph walks into my room holds up a bag of turkey

Joseph: "I want Liddy up on the bed with us" (hence the turkey being held up for me to see)

Me: "why don't you just pick him up and put him on the bed?"

Joseph's face breaks into a great big smile and look of joy and says "OH YEAH" runs out to put the turkey back in the fridge! It was really cute and I had to laugh to myself over his cute reaction to the "simple solution".

Megan -ism -
Megan: "I LOVE going to work"

Me: "You go to work?"

Megan: "Yeah, school!" with a look of duh! mom on it.

I figure this is a far assessment since she leaves home at 8:35am and doesn't get back until 4:35pm. I will be glad when she is back at her regular building.

Sarah-ism - I have just dropped off Joseph at preschool and I am talking to the head director there, Sarah is being shy-silly-goofy. Just acting funny, especially when we would look at her or talk to her.

director: "Sarah how old are you?"

Sarah: bends down and puts hands on floor so her bottom is sticking up in the air and says "spongebutt, spongebutt" mind you she says words quite clearly! We both had a good laugh, mine more from embaressment! The joy of older siblings!

I think Sarah will be our piano player, she loves it! She will actually sing the whole song but not for the camera, I will get her one of these days though!

Not very often (a little long)

Yesterday was one of Those days....I didn't want to get out of my comfortable warm bed...it was raining and cold out....I didn't want to get the kids up and go through the process of getting them ready for school and the mayhem of the morning.....but I did.

Then I had a busy day....a piano being delivered.....geek squad coming over to install a new tv and surround sound....a meeting with a couple of moms (at my house) from school to talk about a project for the new remodel of Megan's school....take Joseph to preschool and pick up....go to the grocery store....this all on top of the daily chores and playing and what not. This is why I wanted to stay in bed. But I didn't

So the piano comes at 9:30am.... I am excited.... it was free... I knew it needed alot of TLC. But I see potential and I think it will look nice....someday, but I was disappointed at how much TLC it needs, I need to say that again, it needs ALOT OF TLC.
When I went to look at it, it was covered with stuff so I wasn't able to look at ALL of it...now getting it here in our bare living room, you can see it ALL. I knew Brent would not be to happy and see it as it was and not the potential....but hopefully I can take care of it......

I continued to wait for geek squad to call or come, by 12:30, time to take Joseph to preschool, nothing, by the end of my meeting, now 2:00, nothing, by the time I pick Joseph up at 3:00, nothing, I go to the store, which was a Nightmare.... kids asking for EVERYTHING.... crying in the middle of the store.... I was hoping to be in and out in 20 minutes or less, I didn't need very many things.... it took us 40 min. to get out of the store.....aaaahhhhhhh..... get back home at about 4:00, put groceries away, still nothing from geek squad.

Mind you, in between all of this I am moving toys and trying to get things in order for the new tv and install, plus dealing with kids.

4:00 I am annoyed..... With the whole grocery store drama and just being on the go from the
time I got up and not hearing a thing from geeks.... I call them and they tell me it is UNSCHEDULED! Can you believe I wait all flippin' day and they aren't even coming when they even called friday and said they would.....long story short....I talked to 4 different people and got nowhere....they are coming out thursday.......all the while talking to them on the phone I am down on the corner of our street waiting for the bus and Megan...which usually shows up at about 4:35, it didn't get here until a couple minutes before 5:00!!!!! (they had a sub driver, not a nice one either says a couple of kids)

By now I am on my last nerves....I get up home....kids put a movie on -fine keep them busy for awhile.....Brent gets home.....disappointed by the piano and says so.....I am frazzled.....they also came to aerate our yard and seed the backyard and the note says "water everyday for 2-3 weeks"!.....I am asked "so are you going to water it everyday?!" .... I am more frazzled.....I change a dirty diaper.....I go in the bathroom....turn on the light and fan and have a good cry.......This is what does not happen to me very often.....

There are days that I feel annoyed or things aren't going to well, but I can usually get over it....but not yesterday.....I had had enough.....I get emotional just typing about it. It was just one of those days where everything just wears on you......I am not a real emotional person anyways, I don't cry often and I don't let things get to me....who knows what was going on with me yesterday.....

I finally composed myself and continued on... made dinner.....did the whole night routine.....I felt drained...

Today, is a new day though and I just want to move on. I am going to go eat lunch at school with all my kids with Megan, get Joseph a very much needed haircut, look for new pants or shoes for him also, and just try to have a better day.

It always feels good to just let emotions and thoughts out in black and white.

These are a few photos of our "new"piano....The bottom one shows how much TLC it needs, the whole thing looks alot like this, scratches, paint splattes, worn finish. Any suggestions? Maybe it doesn't look to bad, but I want it to look better.
And it will someday!!! so help me!!!

Labor day and preschool

Joseph started pre-school yesterday....he was not excited. Everytime we asked him if he was excited he would say "not really"! We went to orientation last week and he wasn't happy about going to that. We found out he has the same teacher Megan had when she went there 2 years ago and she is a fantastic teacher, so we were excited.
So I picked him up yesterday and he had "SOOOO much fun"
Hopefully it will continue! These are pictures of him after school, the batteries in the camera were dead before school, but I think it was better this way, he probably would have been frowning before school!

Sarah has been sleeping from around 9:00 or 10:00pm - 10:00 or 11:00am, and has not been taking naps, but every now and then she will get tired enough and fall asleep somewhere. This time she fell asleep with her legs propped up on the couch and her "blankeys" up around her, she was looking upside down at the movie they were watching. I just thought this was sooooo cute!

This BIG cat is my in-laws cat, Tom! or Tommy as Sarah was calling him this last weekend. He is huge and he is a lot of fun!

Just a few pictures from this Labor Day. We went down to Brent's parents from sat-mon. We had a good time and the kids were soooo happy to spend the night, Twice!

Megan wanted me to take a picture of her with her eyes closed so when people say it they would think she was sleeping sitting up!

This is Little Miss Blue Eyes! (if you click on the picture you can see how blue they are, got that from her daddy!) She was having fun running around in just a diaper! We can hardly keep clothes on her lately, she has figured out how to undress. Great fun!
