Sweet Blog. I finally got it to work. You have to replave the "@" sign with a "." to make it work. This is probably common knowledge that I should have known but I tend to be some what of a freakin' Moron at times. I got a recipe for you. It is called baked hot chocolate. It probably will not help to en-"Lighten" you but it is really good. All you need is 4 eggs, 9 oz's of your favorite chocolate, 1/4 cup of sugar and 3 oz's butter.

You can see where I am going with this.

MMMMMMMMMmmmmMMm XXooXoxxOXxOxoXOxO

Who get back on track.

First, Pre-heat your oven to 350F. Then take the eggs and whip them with your favorite whipping tool. I use a blender. I wish I had a kitchen aid for this. Those things are awesome. except the pink ones, they are not so awesome.

next, melt the chocolate but do not let it get too hot (you will add the whipped eggs to the chocolate in a minute and if the choco is too hot you will end up with whipped scrambled eggs.) make sure the butter is added to the chocolate and be sure to melt it all the way too. A double boiler is a great way to melt chocolate without scorching it. Google it. you can usually make it at home with a couple of pots & Pans.

Slowly add the sugar to the eggs as you whipp, or before you start the whipping process. Make sure the eggs are close to cool whip consistancy.

Then combine the eggs and chocolate and fold the chocolate in until it is evenly mixed. The trick is to do this with as few as folds as possible so that the air stays in the mixture.

Once it is all the same color, pour the mixture into little pyrex bowls or hot chocolate mugs, etc.. Fill the bowls half way to three quarters the way up. The batter will rise on the sides a little bit. (little pans work best because the middle will be too gooey if a large pan is used.) Place the filled bowls or hot chocolate mugs onto a cookie sheet and place in the middle of your oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until you see the middle looking like a brownie.

When you are done you will find the baked hot chocolate to be fluffy with a fairly light texture to it. It will be like a cake on the outside and in the middle will be more like a brownie or even fudgy at times.

My Wife likes the Ghirradelli 60% chocolate but I tend to like a high quality milk chocolate. If you are lucky enough to find some Hot chocolate flavored hershey kisses, these things are amazing!

this is a croud favorite so make sure you make enough.

Hope this helps. You can use this as a treat. i.e. if you have done really well all week long you can reward yourself by having Brent make it for you. You can even buy him a Chef's hat & Smock. That would be, of course, Awesome or radical. -Alan
